The Borrett’s arrived at Hickling Hall in about 1850.
Eventually it was sold to Roy Ellis (father of our “Voice” Bernard Ellis).
The family acquired Eastfield Farm and later more land at Potter Heigham and Maltby until retirement beckoned, when retirement beckoned and they decided to sell up and enjoy life - which they have gone on to do!
