The Lady Yacht Club - only the boats were Ladies!

The Lady Yacht Club was formed after Herbert Woods gave his staff the opportunity to sail in the craft they had built and maintained.  It got its name from the fact that the boats they sailed were all in the “Lady” class of Herbert Woods hire boats.
