Derek Gibbs talks about his early school days at Potter Heigham and how he disrupted the school…  Despite this he won a scholarship and went on the Grammar School in Great Yarmouth before winning a place at the Outward Bound School in Gravesend:  he had to wait to go there, so he worked at the Bridge Stores in Potter Heigham while he waited.
