As Terry was convalescing after  Weil’s Disease, he met Ben Nobbs,  the foreman at Poplar Farm on Sutton Road in Hickling,  who offered him work looking after baby calves.  

38 years later (lots of information about this time on the “Diversification” pages from the sidebar), he was made redundant and went to work on a couple of other farms before he retired.
