John Tallowin

John was born in Hickling in 1947 and has lived on or around Willow Farm ever since.  He took over its management on the death of his father in 1981.

John talks about the changes in farming over his lifetime,  especially about the very big machinery now in use that “floats over the land”.

Conservation is important to John, and he speaks eloquently about the return of the cranes to Hickling.

He is a talented photographer and is never without his camera when he is out and about on the farm.
